What is Loeys-Dietz Syndrome?
Loeys-Dietz Syndrome is a genetic disease that affects the connective tissue. It is linked to aortic aneurysms and other . It has only been described recently and is very rare.
There are currently 5 different subtypes of Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, each with slightly different symptoms and clinical criteria to help guide diagnosis.
